• Citrus sphaerocarpa, Kabosu（カボス）
• Chinese-lantern plant（ほおずき）

Kabosu is one of special local products in Oita prefecture. This is a kind of oranges, similar to lime or lemon. Green Kabosu is available in summer, and the color is turning to yellow toward winter. Chinese-lantern plant is popular in Obon season. The plant is used for decoration or children’s toy, but not for food in Japan.
